Diamond Beach & Atuh Beach
Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach are two of the most breathtaking spots on the east side of Nusa Penida—and the best part is, they’re right next to each other! For just Rp. 5,000, you can access both beaches. Diamond Beach is known for its dramatic cliffs that look like sparkling gems (hence the name). To get down to the beach, you’ll walk down a steep stone staircase built into the cliffside—with safety rails to help you out.
Just around the corner, Atuh Beach offers its own slice of paradise. It’s quieter, just as stunning, and surrounded by high cliffs and crystal-clear water. Getting here is easy: just catch a fast boat from Sanur to Banjar Nyuh Harbor, then it’s about a 45-minute scenic ride by car or scooter to the beaches. Trust us, it’s totally worth it.
Tree House & Molenteng Viewpoint
If you’ve ever dreamed of staying in a real tree house, Nusa Penida makes it come true. The famous Rumah Pohon Molenteng is a bamboo tree house perched high on a cliff with epic views of the ocean and Atuh Beach down below. It’s one of the most Instagrammable spots on the island—and yes, you can actually stay overnight!
It’s perfect for anyone looking to connect with nature, take dreamy photos, or just chill with a view that’s straight out of a fantasy. Just a heads up: it’s high up, so it’s best for those who aren’t afraid of heights!
Angel’s Billabong
Angel’s Billabong is one of those hidden gems that went viral thanks to social media—and once you see it, you’ll know why. It’s a natural infinity pool formed in the rocks, with crystal-clear water and epic views of the open sea. It’s a bit off the beaten path compared to Bali’s more famous beaches, but that just makes it feel more special.
Come during low tide for the best experience, and get ready to snap some seriously stunning photos.
Broken Beach (Pasih Uug)
Just a short walk from Angel’s Billabong, Broken Beach is another must-see. Known locally as Pasih Uug, this spot features a massive cliff with a natural arch carved out by the ocean over centuries. It’s not a beach you can swim at, but the view is unreal. Imagine turquoise waves rushing through a giant hole in the rock, surrounded by towering cliffs—it’s something you’ve gotta see in person to believe.
